The price of Selena Gomez’s enormous diamond engagement ring was disclosed, along with Benny Blanco’s personal touch.
When Selena Gomez announced her engagement to Benny Blanco, she looked like the cutest thing ever. Now, a diamond expert has shared details about her stunning jewel.
The 4-carat marquise-cut diamond ring is expected to cost an eye-watering amount, and her future spouse is probably going to add a personal touch.
“Selena’s exquisite sparkler features a stunning 4-carat marquise-cut diamond, a true symbol of elegance and luxury,” explained Maxwell Stone of UK store Steven Stone. For Selena, its elongated design has particular significance because it slightly references the lyrics of her song “Good for You,” which Benny personally crafted.
“I’m on my 14 carats / I’m 14 carat” and “I’m on my marquise diamonds / I’m a marquise diamond” are among the lyrics of the song, which was released in 2015 and is featured on Gomez’s second studio album Revival.
Mr. Stone went on: “The center stone is complemented by shoulders encrusted with diamonds, and the facets are expertly crafted to create an exceptional brilliance.” Despite being less popular than the more conventional round or cushion cuts, marquise-cut diamonds are highly sought after by people who value uniqueness and distinction.
Husband Wayne gave Coleen Rooney a ten-carat diamond engagement ring for her 21st birthday, which is valued at $400,000 (£314,000). Given its remarkable craftsmanship and elegance, Selena’s ring is probably valued at about $200,000 (£157k).
In an Instagram post on Wednesday, Gomez stated that she and Blanco are getting married after a year of dating.
To share the happy news, the Who Says singer posted a charming video of herself ringing a loved one and close-up pictures of her gorgeous new hand item.
“Forever begins now,” she captioned the photo. Blanco, however, expressed his own enthusiasm in the comments section by writing: “Hey wait. My wife is that.
She also posted a cute picture of herself flaunting her ring in front of the camera as Blanco, 36, gave her a hug and a kiss on the head.
